Our Story
Family Dental Surgery was founded in 1984 by the late Dr Tan Kim Poon, beginning as a modest clinic in Queensway Shopping Centre before finding its cherished home in Ang Mo Kio. Over the years, the clinic has grown alongside the community it serves, with its most recent renovation in September 2023 creating a space that reflects the warmth and care we strive to provide.
At the heart of the clinic is a simple value: trust. Together with a commitment to thoughtful, personalised care, this continues to guide everything we do. Today, the clinic is run by Dr Tan’s children, who carry forward his legacy with the same dedication to patients and community.
We believe in taking the time to understand each patient, creating a comfortable and supportive environment for every visit. It is a privilege to care for generations of families, and we are grateful for the trust our patients place in us.
